Inside the Housing Stock Workgroup: Developer Talks & Next Steps

The Housing Stock Workgroup paused meetings in April to focus on behind-the-scenes prep for an important May session, where they’ll welcome local developers to discuss the real barriers they face in building housing in the community—and how that impacts affordability. Members have been reviewing studies regarding the cost of building new housing and reflecting on common misconceptions about new housing development. The group is also encouraging members to share volunteer opportunities, as they aim to pair thoughtful conversation with hands-on action. They’re committed to keeping the momentum going.
